Minor Puppy Dog (4)

1st Happs' Jorobaden Alderniti of Emianna
6 month old promising baby, of lovely type. Head needs to change which I'm sure it will with maturity. Lovely outline, made well both ends. Moved steadily in good coat and condition. Best puppy.
2nd Lawlers' Roqfoly Farenheit
Stronger baby with more overall depth of body than 1. Well boned with good legs and feet. Again has a pleasing shape and is made well both ends. In good coat and condition moved O.K.

Res. Attwell & Glossops' Feorlig Your The Tops

Puppy Dog (3)

1st Lawlers' Roqfoly Farenheit
2nd Attwells' Feorlig Zero Tolerance
B/W baby who is lighter in frame than I would like, Although made well both ends just needs more all over. Moved O.K.
3rd Attwell & Glossops' Feorlig Your The Tops

Junior Dog (6)

1st Topliss' Petranella Perfick Choice for Beresford
Loved this youngster for his balance, shape and overall quality. He has the most appealing head and eye, with correct expression. His bone is male and his proportions are too. He excited me for the future as he can only get better. Loved his strong well developed quarters, which he used on the move. In super coat and condition he filled my eye and I was pleased to award him his first res CC
2nd Walkers' Petranella Perfickly Frank with Dexbenella
Brother to 1 and just as exciting, these 2 will see battle many times over the next few years. They have many of the same attributes but are also different in a few. Loved this boy's depth and super shoulder placement with such a super return of upper arm. Again he was in super coat and condition and he moved well. Another one to watch.
3rd Mitchells' Peasblossom Chance JW
Res. Richardson & Terry Richardsons' Cherishym Bright Knight
VHC. Tains' Taimeres' the Whistler

Yearling Dog (5)

1st Greens' Kennair Owatanight
Lovely headed dog , with a dark eye and kind expression. He has lovely balance making a very pleasing make and shape. His coat is not at its best at the moment and his movement was erratic at times, but if this improves he could be much better dog.
2nd Warreners' Cepen Changing Places with Waterswarren JW
Very eyecatching dog that takes your eye when he enters the ring. He is in super coat and condition, which is a credit to his owner. Not a lot wrong with his body and framework. He needs to settle on the move and be a little more positive with his foot placings. His head is out of proportion and unbalanced for me. Shown in super coat and condition3rd 4th Richardson & Terry 3rd Richardsons' Cherishym Bright Knight

1st Walkers' Petranella Perfickly Frank with Dexbenella
2nd Richardson & Terry Richardsons' Cherishym Bright Knight
Pleasant headed boy with kind expression although eye is a little round. Gives the impression of being tall although I don't think he is that far over the mark. Lovely bone legs and feet. Shoulder placement is a little upright, but stifles are well bent. Moved O.K.

Post Graduate Dog (5)

1st Lawlers' Roqfolly Ballroom Blitz
Well balanced dog of good size. Good head and expression. Straight front with super bone legs and feet. Shoulder placement good. Well ribbed with adequate depth of body. Nicely coupled, with strong quarters. Moved with drive.

Different build and frame to 1, but has similar qualities. Stood shorter in back and deeper in body. In super coat and condition as are all from this kennel. Not so positive on the move today.

2nd Millers' Roqfolly Aftershock at Feorlig
Lighter in frame than 1 but is well balanced with good bone legs and feet. This boy will look better as he matures and fills into his frame. Skull is a little heavy but his expression was not compromised, lovely dark eye. He was O.K. on the move but needs to settle.

This lovely quality dog oozes type and conformation. Lovely head and kind expression, with a super dark eye. Well made throughout not a lot to fault. Again lovely bone legs and feet, in super coat and condition, maybe a little heavy. Moved well.
2nd Houses' Gleadsbury Whatacracker JW ShCM
Lovely type of dog with a super head and expression. Good bone and substance. Well made all through but needs to harden in condition as he is loosing his topline at times. Coat needs to improve to complete the picture. Moved well.
3rd Downwards' Reubens Silent Reflection JW
Res.  Millers' Feorlig Natural Born Winner
VHC. Whitleys' Shipden Will Hay

Open Dog (3)

1st Smiths' Melverly First Gold
What a surprise for me, I have never been a great fan of this dog before, but he is so super to go over. He is textbook for conformation. He is masculine without being course. He has substance and elegance all rolled into 1. His head is balanced, but his expression is a little lacking, this is the only fault I would pin on him today. In good coat and condition, he moved well with drive. Filled my eye today, what an impressive male. Pleased to award him his 3rd CC and BIS.
2nd Savells' Petranella Perfick JW ShCM
Dog I have always liked, gave him the res CC last time out. Beautiful headed male with dark eyes and correct expression. I admire his great type,  and his balance is correct for his size. Long neck into good shoulders, best of legs and feet. Neat body and strong quarters. Moved O.K, hasn't got the extension of 1. Not in his Sunday suit today.
3rd Calverts' Sh Ch Calvdale Softly Softly

Veteran Dog (1)

1st Walkers' Graftonbury Navahoe at Dexbenella JW ShCM
8 1/2 year old Male who looked wonderful. In super coat and condition, he looked a real picture. Lovely bone good body with depth. Strong quarters. Moved well. I have judged this dog before and think he looks better today than when he was a youngster.

Jimmy Cudworth Memorial Stakes Open Dog (1)

1st Whitleys' Shipden Will Hay
B/W of good overall type he has lovely substance and bone. His head is a little heavy for me and his shoulders are a little course but he has a great body strong backend. This dog was the fittest dog on the day what super condition. Moved very soundly.

KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme (1)

1st Wilsons' Shipden Authorised at Zawspring
B/W in gleaming coat and condition Heavy in head for me. Good neck and shoulder angles but tied at elbow, which showed on the move. Good length of back well ribbed. Adequate quarters. Moved O.K.

Minor Puppy Bitch (5,2a)

1st Topliss Beresford Kiss 'n' Tell.
Quality youngster. Loved her make and shape. Good solid substance. Well proportioned head with kind expression. Lovely legs and feet, moved O.K. lacked a little confidence today but I am sure this will develop with age.
2nd Lawler's Roqfolly Fanny La Rue.
A real baby who needs to deepen in body. Head needs to break, which I am sure will with age. Lovely legs and feet. Good overall make shape. Moved O.K. in good condition.
3rd   Millers Feorlig Zarapito

Puppy Bitch (1)

1st Millers Feorlig You've got it all.
7 months old baby. Has quality and stood in lovely coat. Well angled both ends with a well proportioned body of depth. Lovely feminine head and kind expression. Moved and extended well on a side gate, but was a little wide at the back.

Junior Bitch (7,1a)

1st Osbourne's Petranella Cast a spell over Braego.
Lovely type of bitch, with a great head and expression. Lovely substance and bone. Super legs and feet. Well laid shoulder but upper arm could have a better return. Well ribbed with a good length of back, and super quarters. Moved soundly but could have had a touch more presence.
2nd Warreners Dexbenella Gracie May for Waterswarren.
Very nice Tri with lots of scope. She needs time to fill into herself to finish the picture. Her construction is good both ends and her balance is correct. In good condition she moved steadily.
3rd  Hollenders Melvemere gold Seal at Scoutwell.
Res. Richardson & Terry-Richardson's Cherishym Bright Star

1st Savells Petranella Bloomin Lovely.
Loved this bitch for her style. Has quality stamped all through. Excellent make and shape, with super quarters that stood out. Pleasing head and expression, lovely topline which she kept on the move. Upper arm was short which affected her movement. In good coat and condition.
2nd  Mitchells Barecho Qualified to Show with Peasblossom.
Different overall type to 1 but is still appealing and has quality. Liked her head and expression. Lovely neck and shoulders, with a good upper arm and depth of chest. Longer cast than 1 and needs to carry more weight to carry this off. Well angled quarters, moved O.K. however has great drive from a side gate. In good condition.

Res. Osbournes' Petranella Casts A Spell over Braego
VHC.  Richardson & Terry-Richardson's Cherishym Bright Star

Post Graduate Bitch (11, 2a)

1st Dexbanella Drama Queen.
She deserved to head this strong class for her conformation alone. She is a delight to go over, with nothing to fault. Full of quality and I loved all of her. The overall picture is one of something is lacking but you don't know what?, and after a lot of thought I think that is ONLY time. She will look better when she is a little older and has settled into herself. In super coat and condition she moved soundly. One to watch.
2nd Houses Gleadsbury Whataliberty.
Smaller than 1 and perhaps more balanced at this moment in time. Lovely quality type with good head and expression. Adaquate shoulders. A little short of upper arm. Lovely bone and substance. Well ribbed, super quarters, moved very well, well presented.

Res.  Millers' Roqfolly Act Of Innocence at Feorlig JW
VHC.  Gibsons' Calvdale Come Catch Me

Mid Limit Bitch (6, 1a)

Smiths Melverly Sublimity.
What a fabulous bitch. I found her super from any angle. She is feminine but substantial. Excellent specimen of a springer spaniel, she was a joy to go over and one I will remember for a long time. She was in super coat. She moved soundly with drive, however she did flag a little at times, but this did not detract from my decision to give her the CC and Res Best in Show.
2nd Calverts Calvdale Kept in the Dark
Very flashy bitch of quality, with super overall balance. Seemed to flow, through super neck and shoulder placement .She excels in bone legs and feet, and has a good depth of body with well sprung ribs. Would prefer a better bend of stifle however they are strong quarters which were more than adequate to carry her around the ring soundly with drive.
3rd Mitchells Cepen Celtic Charm for Peasblossom.
Res.  Cunliffes' Calvdale Fair Cop with Fallenleaf JW
VHC.  Toublic & Williams' Cobhay Precious Polyantha

Limit Bitch (8)

1st Savells Petranella Perfickly Dealt.
2nd Hales Sheledams Close Encounter
I have liked both these bitches for a long while and thought it may have been one of their days today. They are both full of quality and have a lot to offer. Although different they appeal for their breed type and conformation. They can and will change places and I am sure they will both reach their goals. There are slight things I would change on both of them and today neither gave me the best they can do on the move but I will still watch with interest as they are two lovely specimens.
3rd Elliots Jonabar Song of Springtime.
Res.  Millers' Feorlig Naughty By Nature JW
VHC. Lockharts' Chetruda Krystal Rose

Open Bitch (2)

1st Calverts Calvdale Litergant.
Lovely bitch of quality. Super angles from any direction, she is well balanced when you go over her but her incredible coat can make her look short in back from the distance. Lovely headed bitch with super expression. She is shown in fabulous coat and condition (I will have to get the secret) and she moved very well with drive. Pleased to award her the res CC today.

Veteran Bitch (5,1a)

1st Elliot's Jonabar Annie's Song.
Well now this girl is a veteran she looked stunning today. Lovely type make and shape she really appealed. Not a lot wrong with this one She is well constructed both ends. In good coat she moved well and I was pleased to give her best Veteran in show.
