Open Show 2003

General Comments

The ESS Club held their Open Show at Southam. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the committee for the excellent hospitality I received. Also the exhibitors for their wonderful entry. Best in Show was SH CH Cepen Country Classic. R.B.I.S. Mompesson Prime Time, Best Puppy was Enlock Ere I Am.

Minor Puppy Dog 3 First Second Third Cepen Cassius Clay Feorlig Classic Gold Kessmari Paperback Writer Mr & Mrs K Payne Mr C J Miller Mr & Mrs K Morgan 1. Very nice L/W puppy dog well put together, shown in good condition, dark eye, good tight feet, moved with drive. 2.Another very nice puppy B/W/Tan good shape, well muscled, moved well when he settled, good dark brown eye, shown in good condition.

Puppy Dog 2 First Second Enlock Ere I Am Feorlig Classic Gold Mace & Crosby Mr C J Miller 1. The first time I saw this young man I thought he was fantastic I wasn't disappointed he has lovely round bone, moves very well with plenty of driving action, nice tight feet, good turn of stifle, level topline. A handsome young man. BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Fennell & Miller's Graftonbury Fifthavenue - Shown in hard condition, lovely head, level topline, tight feet, nice flowing movement. 2. Weyman's Cherimore Royal Connection with Spuffing - Have always liked this young man, shown in good coat, Seemed a bit sluggish today.

Walker's Graftonbury Navahoe at Dexbenella JW. - Liked him from a puppy, lovely mover, good head, nice feet, really drives of his backend, shown in good condition.

Lovely head on this dog, dark eye, nice feet, good turn of stifle, moved well. 2. A bit different from my first place Post Graduate, but still a very nice dog, moved well.

Darker dog than first, good construction, fabulous to go over, went well, lovely expression.

Excellent front very masculine dog, nice round bone, tight feet shown in lovely condition, moved happily with drive RESERVE BEST DOG. 2. Liked this dogs head and expression, gorgeous, different from my first placed dog, shown in lovely bloom, went okay.

Moves really well.
